Nina Dibner, M. Ed, PowerTools founder and Executive Director
is an educator, entrepreneur and master facilitator. Nina's expertise stems from her 13 year career as an elementary and high school teacher in urban public schools. During her teaching tenure, she also served four years as a high school Advisory Coach. In 2006, Nina founded Dibner Consulting Services (DCS), an educational consulting firm that merged her passion for youth voice, change management and social emotional learning. DCS' sustained success and growing client base led Nina to expand her scope and consultant team under her new company, PowerTools, LLC. Nina now oversees a stellar team of consultants, manages increasingly complex projects and continues to work directly with corporate and educational clients including youth. She has extensive experience facilitating workshops, retreats and corporate trainings. Nina's areas of expertise include: Advisory, change management, classroom management, coaching, culture and climate, curriculum development, effective teaming, social and emotional learning, leadership development and youth development. She was the recipient of the "Walter N. Rothschild, Jr "Teacher of the Year Award" in 1999. Nina has a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Minnesota.
