Karmay Gorley she/her

Karmay Gorley, (she/her) is a trauma-informed circle facilitator and educational consultant. Karmay has been a member of the PowerTools team since 2019, and has worked in a variety of programs, including being the Facilitator for the Young Women's Leadership Program. She has supported Nina with teacher retreats, summer workshops for educators, and teacher retreats. Most recently, Karmay is one of the facilitators for the Wellness Ambassador Trainings we are doing for New York Public Schools.

Karmay has extensive experience in both the public and private sector. In the past, she spearheaded adult healing circles for BIPOC educators and students in all-girls private schools. Karmay has spoken at schools on topics ranging from women and girls empowerment, the impacts of bullying to the importance of healthy relationships. She prides herself on her warm, engaging, and professional presentation skills. She believes that learning should be fun, and a shared collaborative experience for everyone.
