Adverse Childhood Experiences have a big impact on students’ well-being, learning, behaviors, and even life expectancy! It’s essential that teachers know what trauma does to the brain and how specific teaching and social emotional strategies can help students thrive.

Come join us for a full-day workshop to:

  • Build a deeper understanding of the prevalence, impact and manifestations of trauma

  • Learn practical strategies to support students to “self-regulate” (get back on track) and calm down

  • Learn the important role of (and practical strategies for) self-care for those who work with children

  • Gain a deeper understanding of what a Trauma Informed Practice is and how you can bring this information back to your school.

You can earn 6 CTLE credits for this one day workshop.
